i’m jealous of pip & pop
Sigh. I love this… and the 10 year old me {who happened to be the co-founder/president of the “Rainbow Girls” ~ an exclusive club for me and my other rainbow/unicorn/candy lovin’ 10 year old friends} really, really loves this! pip & pop {aka Perth based artists Tanya Schultz and Nicole Andrijevic} showed this magical installation piece titled, Under the Crystal Sky at the Japan Foundation in Sydney this past Spring. Ahh, if only the “Rainbow Girls” were still together… we could put our clubhouse smack-dab in the middle of this sugary, fairytale land!

i know. ahh-mazing installation. and this is just ONE of their pieces!
ha! i made rainbow pins that everyone had to wear to each meeting. it cost a quarter to attend the meetings. the $$ was supposed to go towards rainbow/unicorn items for the clubhouse… but my friend michelle (co-founder) and I would buy blue whale gummies with it instead. ah, good times.
soo cute–i love it! reminds me of the sanrio hairclips, pencils and playthings i used to have as a little girl. those smelled of candy too (but tasted like plastic). and i used to be part of a club called “order of rainbow for girls”. it’s a worldwide phenomenon!
