We&#8217;d look long and hard for just the right kind of rock <em>{a tricky task at age 7}<\/em>, crack it in half, and voila&#8230; purple crystals! It&#8217;s quite safe to say that I would have <em>lost my mind<\/em> if I had found one of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gladstonegallery.com\/hodges.asp?id=2553\" target=\"_blank\">Jim Hodges<\/a>&#8216; rocks! This insanely beautiful work\u00a0was recently displayed at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gladstonegallery.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Gladstone Gallery<\/a> in New York <em>{where Jim is based}<\/em>.
