I had a thing for impressionism&#8230; do you see where this is going? I totally thought these were grainy photos when I first saw them, but on closer inspection I realized that these Japanese fashionistas, and those Korean school kids playing in the waves were made entirely of small dabs of paint. Stunning! They are the work of \u00a0two Berlin based artists <em>{who happen to be married}<\/em> known as\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.roemer.tv\/\" target=\"_blank\">R\u00f6mer + R\u00f6mer<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0Torsten and Nina <a href=\"http:\/\/www.roemer.tv\/\" target=\"_blank\">R\u00f6mer<\/a> work together to create these gorgeous, HUGE <em>{78&#8243;x105&#8243; in some cases!}<\/em> modern-day impressionistic work. Yep, I have a thing for these too.<\/p>\n<p><em>{They currently have a show up at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.freightandvolume.com\/exhibitions\/2014-03-20_rmer-and-rmer-party-lwe\/\" target=\"_blank\">Freight &amp; Volume<\/a> in New York &#8211; it runs until April 26, 2014}<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A long time ago I minored in Art History.
