I mentioned a <a href=\"http:\/\/public-functionary.myshopify.com\/collections\/frontpage\/products\/horses-by-jennifer-davis-limited-edition-print\" target=\"_blank\">pre-release print<\/a> from this show a few weeks ago, but now <em><a href=\"http:\/\/publicfunctionary.org\/now\/\" target=\"_blank\">Joyride<\/a><\/em>, a new solo exhibition by Minneapolis based artist <a href=\"http:\/\/jenniferdavisart.blogspot.ca\/2014\/03\/art-and-installation-photos-from.html\" target=\"_blank\">Jennifer Davis<\/a> is open for business! I absolutely love every\u00a0piece in this show, and I&#8217;m particularly excited about this because almost two years ago, I was sitting on a warm patio in Minneapolis having a post <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/2012\/07\/01\/girl-crush-minneapolis-june-23rd\/\" target=\"_blank\">GIRL CRUSH<\/a> dinner with Jennifer, and she told me that she was waiting to find out about a grant&#8230; a grant that would allow her to do a road trip to a bunch of US cities, that were famous for their old carousels, so that she could gather <a href=\"http:\/\/merrygoroundabout.blogspot.ca\/2014\/03\/art-and-installation-photos-from.html\" target=\"_blank\">inspiration\/source materials<\/a> to do a huge, whimsical, solo show. A few days after I left, she sent me an email&#8230; yep, she got the grant\u00a0<span style=\"color: #993366;\">\u2665<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>* This show will be up at <a href=\"http:\/\/publicfunctionary.org\/now\/\" target=\"_blank\">Public Functionary<\/a>, in Minneapolis, until April 25th.
