Porcelain trophies given for the best reasons ever <em>{be sure to read the blue handwriting on each piece}<\/em>. \u00a0This is the fantastic work of Russian artist <em>{Amsterdam based}<\/em>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/vikamitrichenko.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Vika Mitrichenko.<\/a>\u00a0I&#8217;ve been trying\u00a0to find the meaning of this series, titled <em><a href=\"http:\/\/vikamitrichenko.com\/works\/misc\/13-trophy-cups\/\" target=\"_blank\">Trophy Cups<\/a><\/em>, and what I gather is that her\u00a0father was a swim coach for the\u00a0Soviet National team. Apparently he was asked to coach in the USA, but he chose not to do it because he couldn&#8217;t take his family with him.
