I\u2019ve had several people send messages asking\u00a0if I can\u00a0get her\u00a0to come on the podcast. Yes, yes I can! Mysterious, narrative, and oh so beautifully painted. We talked a little bit about her strange characters&#8230; the bears and dogs etc&#8230; turns out they represent people<em> {people that may or may not take on those animal-like characteristics}:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/camillaengman3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-24952\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/camillaengman3.jpg\" alt=\"camillaengman3\" width=\"584\" height=\"2227\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/camillaengman3.jpg 584w, https:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/camillaengman3-79x300.jpg 79w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Ahh,<\/em> I love them so much. So sweet and innocent&#8230; but I have a feeling they&#8217;re probably not quite as sweet and innocent as one might think. Next, these are the amazing envelope collages, from her <em>&#8220;Distant Friends&#8221;<\/em> series that she and <a href=\"http:\/\/anaventura.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ana Ventura<\/a> started together. I <em>cannot<\/em> get over them. So simple. So smart. So &#8220;damn I wish I thought of that&#8221; :<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/camillaengman4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-24953\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/camillaengman4.jpg\" alt=\"camillaengman4\" width=\"584\" height=\"4585\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>LOVE! There is a little blue restaurant, galleries, <em>AND<\/em> guest studios that you can apply for as part of <a href=\"http:\/\/konstepidemin.se\/en\/guest-studios-program\/\" target=\"_blank\">their artist-in-residence program<\/a>.
