Yep, this was recored at a live event in Portland! Artist\/illustrator\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/lisacongdon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lisa Congdon<\/a>\u00a0and I showed up at a gorgeous shop called\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.handeyesupply.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hand-Eye Supply<\/a>. But we weren&#8217;t alone, oh no, we had an amazing live audience there too!\u00a0Lisa and I decided to sort of\u00a0interview each other <em>(really it was just a good excuse for me and Lisa to talk&#8230; which by the way we could do for HOURS.)<\/em> I think my favorite part was at the end, when the audience asked questions. They were tough, but oh so good! This looks like me\u00a0talking about when I started working on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1452148449\/ref=pd_sim_14_2?ie=UTF8&amp;psc=1&amp;refRID=9WMS9CCJTBZX0SW17F2N\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Your Inner Critic Is A Big Jerk&#8221;<\/a>&#8230; I had dinner with Lisa in Oakland about a week after I signed the contract, and to be totally blunt, I was <em>freaking<\/em> out. I have a feeling this was me saying, <em>&#8220;Um, how do I write a whole book, Lisa!? She has lots of tattoos, but this is the first one that is <em>her<\/em> work.
