Listen right up there under that polka-dotty birthday girl,\u00a0or\u00a0you can\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/podcast\/jealous-curator-art-for-your\/id996338562\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">subscribe on iTunes<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>First, her\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nettiewakefield.net\/Reversed-Portrait-Pencil-Series\">&#8220;Reversed Portrait&#8221;<\/a><\/em> series. Absolutely stunning &#8211; I cannot imagine getting a pencil to do this. Ok, I&#8217;ll tell you&#8230; that final drawing above is a &#8220;reversed self-portrait&#8221; of Nettie. Lovely.<\/p>\n<p>Next, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nettiewakefield.net\/Brandy-the-Blow-up-Doll\">&#8220;Brandy the Blow\u00a0up Doll&#8221;<\/a><\/em>\u00a0&#8230; she&#8217;s lovely too. I love that she pushed herself into the world of sculpture. I&#8217;m very curious to see if her sculpture work continues.<\/p>\n<p>Ok, now this is just crazy and surreal. These are a few of the\u00a0drawings\u00a0she did at <em>Dismaland<\/em>. Yes, that&#8217;s right&#8230; by showing her portfolio to a random guy at a\u00a0pub, she ended up drawing reversed portraits at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=V2NG-MgHqEk\">Banksy&#8217;s Dismaland<\/a>. <em>What?<\/em> Who does that happen to? This was part of a project in London to honor Queen Elizabeth&#8217;s 90th birthday &#8230; and in case you aren&#8217;t aware, I \u00a0have a strange obsession with images of the Queen.
