Well, not once he&#8217;s finished with them. This is the work of Japan born, New York based painter &#8230; yes, these are PAINTINGS&#8230; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saatchiart.com\/account\/artworks\/65099\">David Lyle<\/a>. His portfolio is filled with funny, satirical work but these &#8220;art&#8221; pieces are easily my favorite, for obvious reasons. Here are David&#8217;s words about his work:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;My paintings are inspired by found photographs. I feel that to find a lost photo, and paint it allows the photo or &#8220;memory&#8221; to <span class=\"details\">have a second life. I make a college from found photos and then I use the college as a reference to paint from and I use only black paint on a white gessoed panel. Most of my subject matter in the paintings are satirical commentaries of things going on in or around my life.&#8221;<\/span><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>So.
