Here we are&#8230; September and Season No.2 of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/art-for-your-ear-podcast\/\">ART FOR YOUR EAR<\/a>! I couldn&#8217;t think of a better way to kick things off than with the ghostly dresses, strange animals, delicate faces\u00a0of the incredibly talented German born, Seattle based artist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.annesiems.com\">Anne Siems<\/a>! I was so excited to finally talk to her, and thrilled to have another excuse to post a bunch of her stunning paintings. They give me chills. Her work has evolved away from this slightly, but I had to include them. LOVE.<\/p>\n<p>Next, antlers and animals&#8230; this was Anne&#8217;s first venture into the subject of Shamanism <em>{she felt it might have been a bit literal, but I still love them very, very, very much!} :<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/2017\/09\/15\/showers-and-shamanism\/anne_siems3\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-29565\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29565\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/anne_siems3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"584\" height=\"2231\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/anne_siems3.jpg 584w, https:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/anne_siems3-268x1024.jpg 268w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>See? I mean, come on!<\/p>\n<p>And for her most recent work, which will be showing at <a href=\"http:\/\/davidluskgallery.com\/nashville\/\">David Lusk Gallery in Nashville<\/a> this November {2nd &#8211; 30th}, she seems to be merging many of her themes and images\u00a0from the past few years together.
