These gouache &amp; pencil pieces\u00a0can be seen right now\u00a0at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kbfa.com\">Kenise Barnes Fine Art in New York.<\/a>\u00a0Here is their description of her work:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>In her multidisciplinary practice of drawing, painting, and installation art, Glasson explores and questions iconic \u201cWestern\u201d imagery. Depicting women juxtaposed with buffalo, beaver pelts or pistols, for example, sets up a visual investigation into dominant narratives about the region and narratives that often ignore its complicated and violent history.
