When your guest is a photographer, filmmaker, installation artist, curator, maker, and general renaissance woman it&#8217;s hard to find a place to jump in&#8230; so we started at the beginning and covered a fraction of the projects that this woman has been involved with. Yep, I&#8217;m talking to American artist, curator etc.,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.faythelevine.com\/\">Faythe Levine<\/a>.\u00a0Listen right up there under that very wise photograph, or\u00a0you can\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/podcast\/jealous-curator-art-for-your\/id996338562\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">subscribe on iTunes<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>First, a few of her photographs, as Faythe always documents where life takes her:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/2018\/01\/12\/never-say-never\/faythelevine2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-30516\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-30516\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/faythelevine2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"584\" height=\"2003\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Ahhhh,<\/em> dreamy. If you haven&#8217;t seen it, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.signpaintersfilm.com\/#watch\">see it!<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Next, the most recent book Faythe put together&#8230; an unpublished play written by her friend\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Books-Merril-Mushroom\/s?ie=UTF8&amp;page=1&amp;rh=n%3A283155%2Cp_27%3AMerril%20Mushroom\">Merril Mushroom<\/a>. The play, and now the book, is titled <a href=\"http:\/\/faythelevine.blogspot.ca\/2016\/09\/bar-dykes-now-available-online.html\"><em>&#8220;Bar Dykes&#8221;<\/em><\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/2018\/01\/12\/never-say-never\/faythelevine5\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-30519\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-30519\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/faythelevine5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"584\" height=\"969\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/faythelevine5.jpg 584w, https:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/faythelevine5-181x300.jpg 181w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There are so many of Faythe&#8217;s projects to cover <em>(and we haven&#8217;t even discussed the tip of the iceberg?!)<\/em>, but I didn&#8217;t want to miss this&#8230; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faythelevine.com\/untitled-ntl6b\">Art vs. Craft<\/a>, a juried show that she organized and ran for ten years (2003-2013) in Milwaukee:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/2018\/01\/12\/never-say-never\/faythelevine6\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-30520\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-30520\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/faythelevine6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"584\" height=\"996\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/faythelevine6.jpg 584w, https:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/faythelevine6-176x300.jpg 176w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t you want to jump into that photo and do some art shopping!?
