Look how brilliant that last painting is?! Those ladies from the original thrift shop painting popping up in front of his gorgeous letters. How? I don&#8217;t know.\u00a0Wayne has a new show opening tomorrow night, titled\u00a0\u00a0<em>&#8220;<\/em><span class=\"exhibitiontitle\"><em>I TOOK THE MACHINE APART BUT COULD NOT PUT IT BACK TOGETHER&#8221;<\/em>, at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/joshualinergallery.com\/\">Joshua Liner Gallery<\/a> in New York.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div><em><a href=\"http:\/\/joshualinergallery.com\/exhibitions\/white_I_TOOK_THE_MACHINE_APART_february_8_2018\/\">The show<\/a> will be composed of five main components: his signature \u201cword paintings\u201d on vintage offset lithographs, as well as text-based works on paper over the Artist\u2019s painted abstract backgrounds, mixed-media marionettes, and an installation of drawings. The fifth element encompasses the entire gallery, which is painted over with White\u2019s personal doodles, words, and phrases, pulled directly from his notebook.\u00a0<\/em><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><\/p>\n<div><span class=\"exhibitiontitle\">Um, that sounds <em>amazing<\/em>. The <strong>opening reception is on Thursday\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><span class=\"exhibitiondates\"><strong>February 8th (6-8pm)<\/strong>, oh, and Wayne will be there&#8230; ie., GO! <em>ps.
