These fantastic paintings are the work of Atlanta based artist <a href=\"http:\/\/www.monicagarza.com\/\">Monica Kim Garza<\/a>. I just read <a href=\"https:\/\/www.juxtapoz.com\/news\/magazine\/features\/vetting-a-vibe-monica-kim-garza\/\">an interview with her on Juxatapoz<\/a> &#8211;\u00a0this is just a small snippet, but I thought it was kinda perfect:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><b>People often see your work as a political, body-positive activist statement. How do you feel about that?<br \/>\n<\/b>It is what it is, and it ain\u2019t what it ain\u2019t. I\u2019m a pretty chill person, and my work, for me, is inspired by life, not conceptual ideas relating to movements.
