I can almost smell freshly dug soil and a warm summer breeze in this latest body of work <em>{acrylic, enamel, ink, and in some cases, cut paper too}<\/em> by American artist <a href=\"http:\/\/amy-rice-qvit.squarespace.com\/\">Amy Rice<\/a>. Her new show, titled <a href=\"https:\/\/grovelandgallery.com\/exhibition\/root-down\/\"><em>&#8220;Root Down&#8221;<\/em><\/a>, opens TOMORROW: December 1, 12-5 pm at <a href=\"https:\/\/grovelandgallery.com\">Groveland Gallery<\/a> in Minneapolis. Here are a few of their words about this show:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;Amy Rice\u2019s\u00a0artwork presents wildlife at its fullest. Her affection for the outdoors manifests itself in vibrant reds, yellows, purples, blues and greens \u2013 from rolling fields of flowers ready to be gathered to isolated flora depicted stem, root, and all.
