Well, whatever the reason, San Francisco based artist <a href=\"http:\/\/web.mac.com\/mgmcconnell\/Site\/New_Work_In_Progress.html\" target=\"_blank\">Michael McConnell<\/a> has paired them up beautifully in his series, <em>little (animals)<\/em>. These paintings are <em>&#8216;dealing with the characteristics that we associate with  animals, in conjunction with how we are raising our children.&#8217;<\/em> Hm, I wonder what kind of\u00a0 animal head my parents would have assigned to me? An angry bear? A nervous squirrel?
