This ongoing series, titled <em>&#8220;Second Hand&#8221;,<\/em>\u00a0 is the work of Ukrainian artist<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kadyrova.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Zhanna Kadyrova.<\/a> Here is the description from her site:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><em>&#8220;&#8230; the concept of &#8216;second hand&#8217;, we are talking about buildings that have passed from one owner to another.\u00a0Objects that formally resemble clothing are lined with original tiles from the walls of a building or enterprise.\u00a0Tiled ornaments transferred identical to their placement on the walls.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Beautiful! <em>psst&#8230; the top most image (taken by <a href=\"https:\/\/coolhunting.com\/author\/paolo\/\">Paolo Ferrarini for Cool Hunting<\/a>), made with repurposed tiles from a Venetian hotel, is currently showing at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.labiennale.org\/en\">Venice Biennale<\/a> in the Central Pavilion until November 2019.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These are not your older sister&#8217;s hand-me-downs, but they aren&#8217;t new.
