Here is part of her artist statement:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>&#8220;In her current body of work, Reeves considers herself, the \u201cCollector, Protector\u00a0and the Keeper\u201d of numerous family heirlooms.\u00a0 Similar to the meticulously detailed\u00a0Victorian human hair wreaths which represented the family tree; She obsessively cocoons the miniatures in thread in order to contain\u00a0and preserve.\u00a0Nearly, suffocating them in the process.&#8221;\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Suffocating cocoons. Terrifyingly poetic. She has a show opening in Seattle on <strong>Thursday September 12th (5pm)<\/strong> at <a href=\"https:\/\/ghostgalleryshop.com\/\">Ghost Gallery<\/a>.
