So confused. Yep, my co-host today is Brooklyn based artist <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nataliebaxter.com\/\">Natalie Baxter<\/a>. I have loved Natalie\u2019s textile work for <em>years,<\/em> and I\u2019m sure you\u2019ve seen it because I\u2019ve written about her a bunch of times, she\u2019s in both of my books on women <em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.runningpress.com\/titles\/danielle-krysa\/a-big-important-art-book-now-with-women\/9780762463794\/\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.runningpress.com\/titles\/danielle-krysa\/a-big-important-artist-a-womanual\/9780762495511\/\">here<\/a>)<\/em>, and she was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/2017\/01\/20\/warm-guns-n-bloated-flags\/\">on the podcast a few years ago<\/a>. Natalie has taken quilting to a whole new level by making soft guns, stuffed American flags, and bedazzled eagles among other things. We were planning to tackle the topic of art vs. craft, which we attempted, but that also lead us down some other pretty winding paths like women in art, and mothers as artists. Yeah, big topics.
