This is the striking and powerful work of Ghana born, Detroit based artist <a href=\"https:\/\/conradegyir.com\/\">Conrad Egyir<\/a>. All of these pieces are paintings&#8230; and then some!\u00a0Oil, acrylic, and mixed media on canvas and wood. In some cases that means glitter, synthetic flowers, crystals buttons, mounted plexiglass, and&#8230; is that &#8220;bookmark&#8221; a really big ribbon?! Most of this work is\u00a0from his 2019 show, <a href=\"https:\/\/jessicasilvermangallery.com\/exhibitions\/conrad-egyir\/\"><em>\u201cAmeliorations\u201d<\/em><\/a>, at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/jessicasilvermangallery.com\/\">Jessica Silverman Gallery<\/a>\u00a0in San Francisco.
