These floral wall hangings are the work of New Jersey based, Korean-American artist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.solipdiy.com\/\">Alyssa Ki<\/a>\u00a0aka\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/solipdiy\/\">@SolipDIY<\/a><\/strong>. She uses all sorts of textile techniques to create these beauties\u00a0<em>(weaving, macrame, needle-felt and crochet)<\/em>, and her color palettes!? They make me wanna run out to the garden\u2026 or to an ice cream shop. Here\u2019s a bit of Alyssa\u2019s bio from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.solipdiy.com\/\">her website<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>I&#8217;m Korean-American, and I was born and raised in Virginia. I went to school in snowy upstate New York, where I studied Photojournalism. I work full-time in the wild west of NYC events, and I&#8217;m also a freelance photographer. Other than my all-consuming love for beads, yarn and DIY &#8211; I also love the outdoors and thrift shopping.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>SOLIP<\/strong>\u00a0is me &#8211; it&#8217;s my Korean name and the direct translation is \u2018pine needle\u2019 so chosen after my father enjoyed a nice liquor derived from the tree.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Pine needle.
