I wanted to do something different for this momentous occasion, but what? I asked all of you on Instagram, and whole bunch of people said, <em>\u2018have someone interview YOU\u2019<\/em>. That felt weird\u2026 until I thought of the perfect someone! The wonderful, insightful, and brilliant sculptor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.petahcoyne.org\/\">Petah Coyne<\/a> is asking the questions today! And her first question: <em>\u201cWere you an artsy kid?\u201d<\/em> Ha! Clearly, Petah knows the drill. Spoiler alert: My answer was YES. That oil pastel bird up there was the first masterpiece my parents ever framed\u2026 can you blame them?! Sadly, I don&#8217;t have photos of the many, many, <em>many<\/em> Stumpkins I made, but I&#8217;m sure you get the idea. Also, can you believe I found an artist!?<\/p>\n<p data-pm-context=\"[]\">Next, a few photos from one of my three visits to <a href=\"https:\/\/fondation-monet.com\/giverny\/la-maison-de-monet\/\">Claude Monet&#8217;s house in Giverny, France<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p data-pm-context=\"[]\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/2021\/04\/09\/fifteen-seconds\/me_petah3\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-38281\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-38281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/me_petah3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"584\" height=\"1152\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p data-pm-context=\"[]\">That&#8217;s me, in my mid 20&#8217;s, standing in the kitchen window. Greg took this photo on a trip to France while we were still dating &#8230; I thought he was going to propose. He didn&#8217;t. <em>ANYWAY.<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-pm-context=\"[]\"><em>Ahhh,<\/em> Blanche. Huge hugs and thank yous to Petah for being the interviewER today <em>{I was nervous, but that was fun}<\/em>. I can&#8217;t wait to unveil all of this new work to you in the next few months&#8230; I think it&#8217;s finally coming together after recently being torn apart and put back together.
