Turns out, it&#8217;s just her. Easy mistake though, as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kikiandpolly.com\" target=\"_blank\">her site<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.etsy.com\/shop\/kikiandpolly\" target=\"_blank\">her Etsy shop<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kikiandpolly.com\/blog\/\" target=\"_blank\">her blog<\/a> all go by that name.\u00a0 She has a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kikiandpolly.com\/aboutus\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\">very sweet explanation<\/a> behind <em>Kiki &amp; Polly<\/em>, that just so happens to go perfectly with her lovely work <em>{soft paintings that explore bits and pieces of sunny childhood memories, often in the form of sweet, faceless children}<\/em>. Anyway, I know that Lisa&#8217;s a very <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/2010\/11\/25\/im-jealous-of-lisa-golightly\/\" target=\"_self\">busy\/popular lady these days<\/a>, so I&#8217;m thrilled that she has taken a break from the studio to let us know who makes her jealous:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I am jealous of<a href=\"http:\/\/www.somepaintings.net\/AlexNow.html\" target=\"_blank\"> Alex Kanevsky<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/lisa_g_images.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6847\" title=\"lisa_g_images\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/lisa_g_images.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"1368\" \/><\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> I love his use of color and confidence in how he uses the paint and creates movement in his pieces. \u00a0Those big chunks of color and drips, how he creates objects with seemingly few strokes is so beautiful to me. \u00a0It looks effortless, confident and unafraid. \u00a0The color palette he works with makes even his unlikely subjects &#8216;pretty,&#8221; which to me, makes it even more interesting to explore.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> I am a jealous, jealous gal.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Yep&#8230; I can relate!
