it’s here…
1000 posts. WHAT?! Now that’s a lot of jealousy… the good kind, that is! And, by “the good kind”, I mean the kind that punches you in the creative gut, and instead of stopping you in your tracks, inspires you to get back into the studio so that you can work your artsy butt off! To put it bluntly.
I have to admit, I’m really proud of hitting 1000 posts, and so I want to celebrate! But before we do, I want to thank all of you, from the bottom of my heart, for showing up every day and reading/being jealous too! Now… how to celebrate? I reached out to a few of the lovely people that I’ve met over the past three years, and they all generously donated a little something for me to give to you. I have to be honest, I wish I could enter! But I can’t… right? Right : ( Ok, so all you have to do is leave a comment below, and on Thursday September 13th, at 12pm PST I’m going to draw one winner. Yep, one winner who will get all of these prints:

I think your blog concept is great! I went to art school years ago but now represent about 30 artists in the gallery I run. I love so many artists and so many styles that I find myself constantly wandering the web to find new artsy things to love. I really enjoy learning about the artists you feature here. I was like a kid in a candy store when I found this blog oh so recently. Such a great concept, name and blog, all rolled into a neatly curated package, and clearly created by a clever & creative lady who suffers similar feelings of creative block, inadequacy, JEALOUSY, and self doubt from time to time, as so many of us do, but who was brave enough and motivated enough to just say it like it is, and in the process, create so much, both for yourself, and for those that follow you like myself. The more i see on here, the more my inner self yells out I can do it too! Such a moitivation.

Just some minutes ago I found this amazing blog on the day for celebrating 1000 posts!
Surfing with no particular aim I found a nice painting on Pinterest, clicked my way to Holly Chastain’s shop on Etsy, then to her site on Facebook and then to you via her wall. This reminds me not to underestimate “att slösurfa” an expression that means something like lazy surfing in Swedish.
