i’m jealous of donna ruff

10.17.2012

Ok, who else wants to start worshipping at the church of The New York Times? American artist Donna Ruff finds beauty & inspiration in “sacred texts such as the Torah and the Qur’an, but also in the New York Times and the Manhattan phone book; in cathedrals, mosques and synagogues.” Guess where I find beauty & inspiration. Yep… you’re lookin’ at it.

erin kate… just heard back from donna re:prints… “I can certainly have giclee prints done for anyone who wants one. More archival than the newsprint page itself, although I’ve -de-acidified them but they will yellow (which I like up to a point)” you can contact her through her site : )
