Awesome Awesome.
Aaaaand he’s at it again! Vancouver based Ben Skinner is an amazingly talented and incredibly clever artist who I am very happy to call my friend. I have loved his work for years, and have written about him a bunch of times (here, here, here, here, here, AND he was the first artist I interviewed for my book!). I’ve been watching him post this new work {acrylic tinted HydroCal plaster}, titled SAME SAME, on Facebook for the last couple of months and loooooove that it’s finally up on his site! Such gorgeous colors and patterns, and so smart… isn’t it crazy how many words we do this to? You’re trying to think of some right now, aren’t you? Yeah. Me too. {You can see these, and a zillion other amazing pieces by Ben, in person at Back Gallery Project in Vancouver until the end of June. These are priced at $200 per set, in editions of 10 and can be ordered online}
And with that I’ll say happy weekend, and…
ps. You can follow Ben on instagram {lots of cool things!} at @benskinnerart
