“SOMETHING SLOW AND GROWN WHITE WITH EASE”

Just imagine getting lost inside of this relief piece by Minnesota based artist Gregory Euclide. Magic. I wrote about him waaaay back in 2010, and here we are again. Now, just in case you’re wondering what I was wondering, here is Gregory’s very exciting/impressive materials list:

ACRYLIC, CANVAS, EUROCAST, FERN, FOUND FOAM, BLACKBERRY LILY SEED, MOSS, MYLAR, PETG, PEN, PENCIL, SEDUM, WOOD

You’re welcome. Happy Friday.

    I love that it’s a 3-dimentional collage posing as a traditional painting

One of my favorite artists working today. Such a master at landscape. His work is bigger than you would expect in real life. I was lucky to see some in a gallery.

So fun and I want to shrink down and climb around on this sculpture! It’s really cool! I’d like an Ancient Rome set up like this and then you couldn’t get me out of that world!

I am totally enthralled by his work. It’s so thoughtfully, conceptually crafted as well as beautiful. I love his use of local debris and natural elements as well as his use of paint. WOW! THANKS FOR SHARING.

Yes! He elevates the “mixed media” term to a new whole level! Such an inspiration!

GASP! Recipe of poetic alchemy! (So visually dense, and makes me feel the same as Dario Robletto’s ‘The Melancholic Refuses to Surrender’, 2003. Who doesn’t love a good recipe?) I gotta take my practice up a notch. JEALOUS! Thx xo
